In cooperation with Endless Bummer festival, join us on August 31 for a showcase and fundraiser aimed at community-building and supporting existing bands/musicians with trans*, queer, genderqueer and woman-identified folks.

Naked Cyber Cafe is a physically accessible and all-ages venue with a ramp leading indoors and large single-stall washrooms. See photo of entrance with ramp below. Exact accessibility info (SPACE project) to come!

There is no cash machine at the venue so please come prepared!!!!!!!

Admission with an Endless Bummer wristband or sliding scale: $5- $15 (no one turned away)

Not Enough Fest Skill Share

We are hosting our first skill share for NEF participants who are considering starting a band for the fest!

We will be hosting 5 different music related skill shares in one day:

1. 30 mins of How to Start a Band 101 – The idea of starting a band from scratch can feel overwhelming when you don’t know where to start. Come check out this short panel discussion on how to start a band and have your questions answered!

2. 1 hour guitar skill share – Learn basic guitar techniques and familiarize yourself with the instrument.

3. 1 hour drum skill share – Learn basic drum techniques and familiarize yourself with the kit. **There will be only one actual kit at this session and participants will practice their techniques on practice pads.

4. 1 hour bass skill share – Learn basic bass techniques and familiarize yourself with the instrument.

5. 1 hour vocals workshop – Learn basic singing techniques. Facilitators will touch on basic techniques for melodic signing as well as techniques for heavier vocals.

Check back soon for the workshop schedule! As a rough idea, we have the space from 4:00 – 10:00 and workshops will be running back to back and one at a time.

There will be a second room for snacks and mingling for those who are not attending every workshop.

***Harcourt House is a physically accessible and all ages venue. Harcourt House has two buildings, we will be in the one on the right/south. It’s a single floor building (no stairs to get in or around inside) and has large single stall washrooms. It is located at 10215 112 St NW, (between Jasper Avenue and 104 ave), accessible by transit on the #5, #120, #135, #2, #112 and #8 ***

Sign up for gear

Looking to start practicing/jamming/making noise but don’t have the instruments or gear to do it with?

We are in the process of determining how to best distribute the instruments/gear that was so generously donated/lent to us at the gear drive two weekends ago as well as gauge demand for instruments we are yet to have in our care.

SO, if you are in need of instruments to start making these bands a reality please fill out the gear request application!

Interested in performing at the festival but looking for more ways to connect with potential band mates or connect with other festival participants for noise making purposes? Join this group and start recruiting!

You can use this page to search for band-mates, recruit musicians who play a certain type of instrument or a certain genre of music, invite people to jam, or for whatever other band related needs you may have!

Not Enough Fest will be hosting many participant events where there will be opportunities to meet and connect with each other. This forum is just one tool that is at your disposal should you want to use it.”
